2026 Ramsey Business of the Year

The City of Ramsey is proud to recognize RM Golf Carts as the 2026 Ramsey Business of the Year.

Located at 7039 Highway 10 NW, RM Golf Carts has been a familiar and growing Ramsey business since 2007. Owner Mark Kaufman started the company out of his garage before relocating to Ramsey in search of a larger space and the visibility of a major highway location. What began as a small operation has continued to grow into a trusted destination for golf cart sales, service, rentals and customization.

RM Golf Carts offers new and used golf carts, parts, service, rentals and custom-built carts. The company is known for taking on unique projects, including custom limousine-style golf carts, ambulance golf carts for federal prisons, and specialty carts used by medical service providers at concert venues and other large events.

With five employees and a 44-by-77-foot facility, RM Golf Carts continues to evolve alongside the growing demand for golf carts in recreation, business and specialty uses. Customers can rent a golf cart for a day, a season, a full year or another timeframe that fits their needs.

Mark credits the company’s success to hard work, trade shows, social media, educating customers about its products and providing top-notch customer service. A memorable milestone for the business has been its continued growth and expansion over the years, including the opportunity to own the property where the business is located.

Each year, the Ramsey Economic Development Authority selects one outstanding local business to receive the Business of the Year Award, recognizing excellence in innovation, community involvement, and overall contribution to the city. The award is formally presented at the Annual Business Appreciation Event in August.
