Welcome to our new website!
Welcome to our newly designed site. While you’re here, explore our new department pages, updated parks information, community calendar, and online services. If you discover something that doesn’t quite look right, please let us know (webmaster@cityoframseymn.gov) – we’re always improving!
This redesigned website is part of our ongoing commitment to making city services more accessible, informative, and user-friendly.
Below is general information about the City. If you have any questions that are not addressed here or in the New Resident Packet (PDF), please call the City Offices at 763-427-1410. The New Resident Packet has all the information listed on this webpage and more.
Council meetings are open to the public and are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, except in December, when the meeting is held on the 2nd Tuesday only. Meetings are at 7:00 p.m. at the Ramsey Municipal Center at 7550 Sunwood Drive NW in the Council Chambers. Shortly after meetings start, the floor is open to citizen input.
If you have four or more dogs, you are required to have a kennel license. All dogs in public spaces must be under the owner’s control and wear identification tags or have embedded ID chips. All dog excrement must be removed immediately and disposed of in the proper receptacle.
If there is an animal control issue, a Ramsey Police Department Community Service Officer can handle it. Police Officers will address problems if the Community Service Officer is not on duty. Please contact the Ramsey Police Department via the Anoka County Dispatch Center at 763-427-1212.
There is No Parking on streets within the City of Ramsey from 2:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. year-round.
