Speed Trailer Request

The Ramsey Police Department has one portable speed trailer. This unit displays the approaching vehicle’s speed and the posted speed limit. The intent is to alert drivers to their speed compared to the speed limit and thereby improve compliance. Please note: the trailer does not record the vehicle’s registration or driver’s information. 

If you would like to request that the speed trailer be placed in a specific area, complete the online request form. The Speed Trailer is requested frequently. Due to this, your request will be processed in the order of submission and is subject to weather conditions.
