Whether you want to reduce stress after a hard day’s work, try your hand at recreational fishing, or challenge your upper body and burn calories by paddling as fast as you can, Sunfish Lake is the place to be!
The City of Ramsey, in conjunction with grant funding from the Anoka County State Health Improvement Program (SHIP), has installed a self-service canoe and kayak kiosk at Sunfish Lake Park, located at 6330 Sunwood Drive, at the intersection of Sunfish Lake Boulevard NW and Sunwood Drive NW. The kiosk holds two single-person sit-in kayaks and two three-person canoes. Paddles and life vests are also provided.
