Happy Days Event Schedule

Bring the whole family to participate in the Happy Days 5K or the Youth Fun Run (for children aged nine and under), sponsored by Connexus Energy. This year, we will host the run at Elmcrest Park, a beautiful and scenic location that is also USATF-certified. Whether you are a seasoned runner or a first-time participant, you will surely enjoy the challenge and thrill of this new route.

The top male and female finishers in each age group will receive an award, and all runners will be entered in a raffle. The age group categories are as follows: 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and above.

The Expo features a wide variety of craft vendors, businesses, nonprofits, and other organizations showcasing their goods, services, and community resources to thousands of attendees throughout the day.

What's a festival without good food? Every year, a variety of vendors are selected to sell food and beverages at the Happy Days Festival. Come hungry!

The Happy Days Parade will take place on Saturday, September 12, at 11:30 a.m. along Sunwood Drive at the COR. Awards have been given for first, second, and third place based on the most creative float or performance. Don't forget to bring your chairs!

Race your friends and family members in this outdoor obstacle course. Ninjas must have good balance and quick feet to conquer all the obstacles - bring your best ninja moves! 

Keep the kids entertained with a variety of outdoor games and activities. Games can be found along Sunwood Drive. Inflatables and a bungee will also be onsite. Don't forget to bring socks for the kids!

Join us for the Happy Days Dog Show. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your furry friend and connect with other dog enthusiasts. Armstrong Ranch Kennels generously sponsors this event.

Mike Orn, State Farm Agency, proudly sponsors the Ramsey Happy Days Classic Car Show. Participants are invited to show their antique, late-model, or unique cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more! Attendees vote for the best car.

The Car Show takes place in front of Ramsey City Hall at 7550 Sunwood Drive, Ramsey, starting at 1:30 p.m.

Stop by the Jam Hops gymnastics demonstration to see athletes perform skills they've learned through dedication and training. Located in Ramsey, Jam Hops offers gymnastics, dance, ninja, and other early childhood programs designed to help kids build confidence, stay active, and reach their full potential.

Grab a card (or two, or three) and enjoy a few rounds of good old-fashioned Bingo! Games are $1 per board per game. We anticipate multiple prizes, including Split the Pot cash prizes (cap of $99), and other donation items. Past years other prizes have included t-shirts, can koozies, and more. All proceeds from bingo are donated back into the community.

Bingo is sponsored by the Anoka Women of Today, a local chapter of the greater Women of Today organization. Anoka Women of Today is a non-political, non-religious organization open to all women and men over 18. Through service projects, leadership opportunities, and personal growth experiences, members make a positive impact in their communities. There’s something for everyone, and ideas are always welcome.

Jonah and the Whales will take the stage from 6:30–8 p.m. The party legend of Jonah and the Whales, a long-time music staple of the Twin Cities, continues with new music, iconic costumes, and killer dancing fun! From pop to rock, country to punk, The Whales deliver their biggest beluga bash yet. With top songs spanning over five decades of music. So, what are you waiting for? Whale see ya on the dance floor!

Stone Daisy Band will headline from 8:30–10 p.m. Stone Daisy is a country-rocking powerhouse! With powerful vocal harmonies and a driving rhythm, the energy is contagious. All are stellar musicians with decades of performing experience. Featuring modern country hits, top 40, as well as 80s and 90s classic rock. This show has something for everyone!

Happy Days will wrap up with a fireworks show! The show begins at 10:00 p.m. after the final stage performance. Thank you to our sponsors for the show that community members and guests can ooh and aah over. 

Join us for the 11th Annual 9/11 Memorial Golf Tournament, the final event of Ramsey Happy Days. Hosted by the Ramsey Fire Relief Association, a portion of the proceeds will benefit Red Knights and Firefighters for Healing.
