Fall Recycling Day | September 26, 2026
The Fall Recycling Day event will be on Saturday, September 26, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Ramsey Public Works facility (14199 Jaspar St NW).
This is an opportunity for residents to properly dispose of a number of materials that are not accepted in the curbside recycling program, including: Appliances, electronics, tires, fluorescent bulbs, batteries, oil, oil filters, antifreeze, mattresses, box springs, and scrap metal.
Standard curbside materials (e.g. cardboard, aluminum, steel, and tin cans, newspaper, plastic bottles, tubs, and lids 1 gallon or less in size, glass jars and bottles) will also be accepted.
Finally, residents can take advantage of FREE paper shredding at the Fall Recycling Day event (limited to no more than 3 boxes of documents per household; the shredded paper does get recycled).
