The Administration Department is multifaceted, supporting the public, the organization, and the City Administrator. 

About the City Administrator

City Administrator Brian Hagen oversees all operations and activities of the City. He reports directly to the City Council and provides leadership, vision, and direction to various City departments, including Community and Economic Development, Engineering, Finance, Fire, Parks and Recreation, Police, and Public Works. 

In addition to his primary duties, Administrator Hagen manages organizational development, fosters community and intergovernmental relations, and supports the City Council in its efforts. He is also responsible for the City’s budgeting and planning processes, assists with human resources matters, oversees labor relations and strategic planning, and conducts policy research, among other key responsibilities.
