Under Minn. Rules Chap. 6700.1615 Subp. 2(A), a Chief Law Enforcement Officer must ensure that the current version of each mandatory policy is posted on the law enforcement agency’s website. If the agency does not have a website, the policy must be posted in the public area of the agency’s physical premises. This law took effect on May 31, 2023, as part of the larger rules overhaul.
