A comprehensive plan is a long-term document that will outline Ramsey’s goals for growth and development. It helps determine how to utilize land, manage housing, provide transportation, and deliver public services.
This plan serves as an agreement between the city and its residents, outlining objectives and strategies for approximately the next 20 years. Ramsey will carry out our plan through zoning laws and budget decisions.
The 2040 Comprehensive Plan has received the following amendments since its adoption:
The City of Ramsey partnered with the University of Minnesota through its Resilient Communities Project (RCP) to address 21 projects related to the Comprehensive Plan, the City Council Strategic Plan, and other community planning documents.
