2026 Neighborhood Pavement Overlay Improvements IP 26-08

April 24, 2025

A proposal for geotechnical services and topographic surveys was awarded to Bolton & Menk, Inc. for the Hall-Anderson Acres, Evergreen Point Townhomes, and Alpine Woods developments. A letter was mailed to the residents who will be affected by this work. 

May 28, 2026

On May 26, 2026, the City Council awarded a construction contract to North Valley, Inc. for these improvements. Work is currently anticipated to begin in late June or early July. Read the third project update letter. View the construction map (PDF).

May 15, 2026

On May 12, bids were publicly opened for this project. City staff will be presenting a case to City Council on May 26 to consider awarding a construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder.

March 26, 2026

The City plans to mill and overlay streets within the Alpine Woods, Evergreen Point Townhomes, Hall-Anderson Acres, and Section 16 Unplatted. Read the second project update letter. 

August 5

The contractor has moved milling of the TH 47 frontage road (Hall-Anderson Acres) to the week of August 10. The new pavement is proposed to be placed following milling and patching activities.

July 31, 2026

The contractor has completed work in the Section 16 neighborhood and will be removing all remaining signage and erosion control materials on Friday, July 31.
In addition, the contractor has finished paving in the Alpine Woods and Evergreen Point Townhouse neighborhoods. They are scheduled to seed and mulch these areas on Monday, August 3.
Later in the week of August 3, the contractor plans to mill the TH 47 Frontage Road (Hall-Anderson Acres). New pavement is expected to be installed during the week of August 10.

July 17, 2026

Restoration is scheduled for the Evergreen Point neighborhood. Pedestrian ramps have been completed. Milling is scheduled for the Alpine Woods, Evergreen Point and Hall-Anderson neighborhoods for Wednesday-Thursday next week. 

July 6, 2026

The contractor is scheduled to place the new pavement in the Section 16 neighborhood on Tuesday, July 7, weather permitting. Please make sure to park all vehicles in your driveway, and give the trucks, paver, and rollers plenty of space to complete their work. Once the rollers have finished, the pavement may be driven on. This generally takes 15 to 20 minutes from the time the paver places the material. 

The contractor is also proposing to work on pedestrian ramp replacements and removals in the Alpine Woods neighborhood later this week. 

June 26, 2026

This work has been pushed approximately one week. The contractor is now proposing to mill pavement within the Section 16 neighborhood on Wednesday, July 1. Removals and pedestrian ramp replacements are now proposed to begin during the week of July 6.

June 22, 2026

On Thursday, June 18, the city held a pre-construction meeting with North Valley, Inc., the contractor performing the improvements. Work is scheduled to begin in earnest on Wednesday, June 24, weather dependent. Read the fourth project update letter with the schedule.
