A Public Open House meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 29, for this project in the Lake Itasca Room, Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. View Update Letter 2 for property owners impacted by these improvements.
This project proposes reconstructing the streets within the Deerwood subdivision, generally along Gibbon Street and Eland Street, north of 173rd Avenue. The streets are a 24-foot-wide rural section, totaling 1.13 miles in length. Street-crossing culverts and drainage swales handle drainage and generally carry stormwater to existing wetlands throughout the subdivision.
The subdivision has no municipal utilities because it lies outside the 2040 MUSA.
Capital Improvement Project-level project costs are $803,091 ($698,340 Pavement Management Funds, $104,751 Stormwater Utility Funds).
